I’ve passed by Sunset Materials a hundred times but was too intimated to check it out. A little encouragement from my brother, a regular customer, I stopped in. I was pleasantly surprised by how friendly and helpful the staff are, especially Paula. Since that first day of summer, I have been there 20+ times with my minivan. This summer, I got rocks, sand, pea gravel, drain rocks for my garden. Their pricing is a fraction of the retail stores. There are two locations: Renton / Issaquah and Maple Valley. I will definitely be back next summer for more materials.
